studied political science and international commerce for her B.A. and M.B.A. Degrees at Chung-ang University and Catholic University, Korea, respectively. Subsequently she developed interest in theology/religious studies. She studied theology at University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines and earned her M.A. and PhD degrees in the field of religious studies at the Academy of Korean Studies, Seongnam City, Korea. She taught Korean language and culture at Tashkent State Pedagogical University for two years (1995-6) and Nalanda University, Rajgir (India) for a semester in 2017. As the President of Crossing Boundaries Publications, she intends to forge and promote cross-cultural understanding amongst Asian nations and also between the East and West.
