Sherlock Holmes must never die! When Sherlock Holmes died in "The Adventure of the Final Problem," published in 1893, the reading public was frustrated. They asked Conan Doyle to revive him in response to Holmes' unexpected death. Eventually, Conan Doyle brought Sherlock Holmes back alive.
저자 소개
Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930)
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was born on 22 May 1859 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He studied medicine at Edinburgh University, and became a doctor at southsea. He created novels, short stories, essays, poems across a wide range of genres. His most famous creation is the detective Sherlock Holmes, who attained international status. He had died of a heart attack on July 7, 1930. The epitaph on his gravestone in the New Forest, Hampshire reads: “STEEL TRUE, BLADE STRAIGHT.”
