키시아르의 미소가 조금 더 짙어졌다. 그는 의자 팔걸이에 올린 손에 얼굴을 기대어 괴었다. 금빛 머리칼 사이로 붉은 눈동자가 빛났다.
“기껏 합격한 마병단인데, 자네는 미련이 조금도 없다는 투군.”
“…….”
유더에게는 미래가 이전과 똑같이 흘러가지만 않는다면 아무래도 좋았다. 여기에서 쫓겨난다고 그 다음 길이 없어지는 것은 아니다.
오히려 그가 나가면 키시아르가 계속 마병단장으로 남아 있을 확률이 좀 더 커질지도 몰랐다. 그렇게 생각하면 나쁜 결과는 아니었다.
“조금 겁을 줘 볼까 했는데 통하지 않는 상대를 보는 것도 오랜만이야. 원래 그렇게 겁이 없었나?”
“…그랬던 것 같군요.”
기억을 더듬어 보면 예전에도 유더는 키시아르에게 비슷한 평을 받은 적이 있었다.

유더는 눈을 감았다 뜸으로써 과거의 쓸데없는 기억 하나를 흘려보냈다. 아니다. 그 미래는 오지 않을 것이다. 오지 않도록 만들 테니까 떠올릴 필요도 없었다.

Turning is an absolute masterpiece that I should've started reading earlier in my life! The manhwa brought me to the novel, and the chapters had me staying up to see what Yuder and the others were getting up to; it was so addicting, and I loved every moment of it. I adore how Kuyu created such amazing dynamics between the characters, and the character growth between the cast since the beginning of the novel has been phenomenal. The romance and plot never felt like either overpowered the other, and it was so beautiful watching the main couple's love develop while the plot connected itself like a web. The way that both Yuder and Kishiar aim to be the greenest flags for one another also makes this one of the top series in my heart. I may have only been reading for a month to catch up, but I hope I'm here for as long as the author keeps writing this lovely series. Kuyu, please take care of yourself! Your health comes first, Kishiar would say so too! ❤️
tob***2026.06.06When I started reading this novel a year ago, I was a little apprehensive about the number of chapters and the omegaverse, which I wasn't entirely convinced about at the time. However, with each chapter I read, I began to like it more and more. I couldn't put it down, and everything else I was reading was put on hold so I could read more chapters of this novel. I loved this work so much that each new chapter brightens my day. The author has created a wonderful work. Kuyu, I wish you good health!
sno***2026.06.06This novel is one of my favorite series of all time. The development, the storytelling and the way it keeps you hooked is something special. Even with pauses in uploads author health is just as important if not moreso, it's worth every read and more. If it ever was translated in my native language and published this is the one series I would buy to ensure it was on my shelf. 100/10

It's the perfect blend of an excellent action plot, a beautiful romance, and its main characters... I love Yuder and Kishiar so much; I always end up thinking how intelligent and complex they are. The dialogue, the situations, author—I admire you so much. I'm so happy every time a new chapter comes out. I'll keep reading as long as you want to extend the story. Lately, my life has been difficult, and your story has been one of the few good things that have happened to me. Thank you so much.
