저 : 권율 (Ryul Jonathan Kwon)
저자는 경북대학교 영어영문학과(B.A.)와 고려신학대학원 목회학 석사(M.Div.)를 마치고, 평소에 청년들을 위한 사역에 힘쓰고 있다. SFC(학생신앙운동) 간사로 캠퍼스 사역을 한 경험으로 청년연합수련회, 연애학교, 결혼예비학교 등을 자주 섬기기도 한다. 또한 인생의 고난과 아픔을 소재로 설교와 글쓰기에 힘쓰는 저자이다. 비신자 가정에서 태어나 가정폭력 및 부모이혼 등의 어려운 환경에서 복음으로 인생이 ‘개혁’되는 체험을 했다. 어릴 적부터 성경과 교리에 관심이 컸는데 심지어 연애하는 중에도 그 불이 꺼지지 않았다. 연애에 있어 최고의 교과서가 성경이라는 그의 신념은 결국 『연애 신학』의 출간으로 이어졌다.
현재 김해 푸른숲교회와 부산 세계로병원의 협동목사로 섬기면서 가족 전체가 선교적 삶을 살고 있다. 그리고 6년째 선교지(몽골, 필리핀) 신학교 강사로 섬기고 있다. 평소에 블로그와 페이스북을 통해 독자들과 끊임없이 소통하며, 마음의 상처와 아픔이 있는 독자들과는 실제 만남을 가지기도 한다. 저서는 『올인원 사도신경』, 『연애 신학』 외 3권이 있고, 역서는 『원문을 그대로 번역한 웨스트민스터 소교리문답(영한대조)』 외 3권이 있다.
The author has completed the Department of English Language and Literature (B.A.) at Kyungpook National University and the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) at Korea Theological Seminary. He has experience working on campus as a staff of SFC (Student for Christ), and he frequently serves young adult union retreats, dating courses, and pre-marriage courses. He is an author devoted to preaching and writing about life’s hardships and pains. He was born into a non-Christian family but experienced his life “reformed” with the gospel in difficult circumstances such as domestic violence and parental divorce. From an early age, he was interested in the Bible and doctrine, even during dating. His belief that the best textbook for dating is the Bible led to the publication of A Theology of Dating: The Partial Shadow of Marriage.
Currently serving as a cooperative pastor of Purunsup Church in Gimhae and Saegyaero Hospital in Busan, the whole family lives a missionary life. He has also been working as a lecturer at seminaries in the mission fields (Mongolia, Philippines) for six years. He constantly communicates with readers through his blog and Facebook. He has even real meetings with those who have broken hearts and pains. He is also engaged in writing, presently having five books and four translations.
