이승은
미국 매사추세츠대학교(University of Massachusetts Lowell) 범죄학 및 사법학부(School of Criminology and Justice Studies) 부교수이자 Center for Asian American Studies의 공동소장이다. 싱가포르국립대학교에서 사회학 박사학위를 받았다. 인하대학교 중국학과 조교수를 지냈다. 주요 연구 분야는 사이버 보안·안보·범죄, 사이버 보안 및 AI 교육, 소셜 미디어, 온라인 혐오 등이다. 단독 저서로는 Soft Power Made in China: Transnational Audiences and the Dilemmas of Online and Offline Media(2018), 공동 편저로는 Routledge International Handbook of Online Deviance(2024)가 있다. 주요 연구로는 “Cyber victimization in hybrid space: An analysis of employment scams using natural language processing and machine learning models”(2025), “Typology of cybercrime victimization in Europe: A multilevel latent class analysis”(2024), “Visual CryptoED: A role-playing and Visualization tool for K-12 cryptography education”(2024), “In the name of Dark Web justice: A crime script analysis of hacking services and the underground justice system”(2023) 등이 있으며, 약 70여 편의 논문을 SSCI, SCOPUS, KCI 등 학술지에 게재했다.
