Isophia is a novelist with more than three decades of experience in literary writing. She holds a PhD in Literature, where her research focused on psychoanalytic readings of mode Korean fiction, drawing on Freud, Lacan, Julia Kristeva, and Slavoj Žižek.Her fiction explores silence, memory, feminism, and the fragile intersections between the human and the technological. Across her work, she examines how language both reveals and conceals, how institutions shape intimate lives, and how the self endures within structures of loss and surveillance.Writing in both Korean and English, she continues to pursue experimental forms that merge narrative, philosophy, and the unconscious—tracing the evolving relationship between human beings, technology, and the traces they leave behind in contemporary society.
