ERA는 디지털 시대에 예술을 담아내는 책에 대한 고민으로부터 시작되었습니다. 빠르고 쉽고 가벼운 디지털 매체와 깊이 있는 예술이 만나는 접점을 찾고자 합니다. 더 다양한 사람들과 함께하기 위해 영어와 한글, 두 언어로 전달합니다.
ERA는 매회 한 명의 아티스트를 선정하여 그의 작품을 집중적으로 보여줍니다. 그리고 다채로운 이야기와 표현이 가득한 그림책을 소개합니다. 예술 작품과 그림책에서 다른 듯 같은 이야기를 들어봅니다. 작가들의 이야기에서 나의 이야기를 만납니다.
ERA는 예술 작품에 담긴 이 시대의 느낌과 고민을 독자들과 나누고 싶습니다.
ERA started from the struggle to express the art within the digital era. It aimed on finding the medium between the fast, easy, light-weighted digital media and deep expressions within art drawings. In order to deliver to more diverse people, ERA will be written in two languages: English & Korean.
For each magazine, ERA selects one chosen artist and focuses on showing artworks. Along with the chosen artist, a colorful and emotional picture book is also introduced. Both the artist and the picture book, although seemingly different shows similar storylines. Using these artist work, ERA aim to connect the reader with the common emotional moments that everyone share.
ERA Magazine aims to share this era’s artists’ emotions, stories and struggles to the readers.
