작가 소개
After graduating from Deoksoo Commercial High School, he worked at Jungang Investment Finance Co., Ltd. While preparing for the bar exam at the Central University Law School with aspirations for a career in politics, he responded to the Lord's calling and entered the Korea Baptist Theological Seminary Graduate School, embarking on the path of ministry. He specialized in New Testament studies under the tutelage of world-renowned Pauline scholar Dr. Seyoon Kim in the English program at Asia United Theological Seminary. Later, he graduated from Chongshin University Theological Seminary and earned a Doctor of Theology degree from Chongshin University's Graduate School of Practical Theology with a dissertation titled "Effective Strategies for Transitioning to a Lay Ministry-Oriented Church."
He planted Bundang Great Love Church and served as a pastor there for seven years. He also ministered through preaching at Pagoda Foreign Language Institute and Yuhan Corporation for three years and served as a religious advisor for the Ministry of Justice for six years. Additionally, he was the founding president of the Reformed Church Growth Association. With a vision to transition churches to lay ministry models and create faith-based communities for the elderly, he founded "We Are One Church," where he trains disciples up to the age of 70 to become active ministers.
He has devoted his life to lay ministry, channeling his passion and experience into developing the "D3 Discipleship System," a method to quickly and effectively train laypeople as ministers, which is now serving pastors nationwide. He also leads the "D3 Lay Ministry Research Institute" as its representative.
