In 2022-2023 I studied at the KIIP program and in spring 2023 I completed the program.

In May 2023, I successfully passed the citizenship exam. Also in January 2023, I applied for citizenship and went through all the procedures (certificates, certificates from the country of birth, translations, etc.).



As a result, in order to summarize all this information, I wrote a comprehensive, structured and comprehensible guide "How to obtain Korean citizenship" with a step-by-step explanation and my personal experience in the KIIP program.

I think it is very important that those who are now at the beginning of this path get information from those who have personally passed all this.

My guide consists of 45 pages.

My name is Svetlana and I live in Seoul.

I am a KIIP social integration program consultant in the Republic of Korea and a licensed Korean to Russian and English court and medical certified translator. I'm also a mom of three teenagers and an avid traveler.

I decided to write this guide when I went through the Korean citizenship process myself. Using my experience, I want your path to South Korean citizenship to be easy and trouble free!

Of the three paths to Korean citizenship, the marriage path is described in more detail, as this was my case. If there is a different way for you and you still have questions, we can resolve them through a private consultation.
